How to link videos in YouTube together
Are you using YouTube in your marketing campaigns?

February 24th, 2010

YouTube does offer a completely different way of using online videos and it is possible to build large online campaigns with a series of videos. As videos are attracting more people than plain text, this kind of campaign tends to be more effective. Take a look at the great example below and go through some of the choices. Try different choices to see what happens.

The campaign you see here is a government campaign to motivate young people not to carry any weapons with them, with the objective to lower the related number of casualties. The same method can easily be used for online marketing campaigns.

How to create a link
Go to "My Videos" in your YouTube account and click on "Annotations". You will see your video screen, with "Add annotation" in the bottom corner. Move through your video, by dragging the timeline button, to the point where you would like to place the link. Click on "Add annotation" and choose a type of annotation. You will then be able to type in text, add a link to another video and decide how long this text & link will be visible. Do not forget to publish at the end.

If you like this text, then please tell me how you would use this kind of linking.
