Do you think you are using Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and other social media sites in a sensible way that will not get you into trouble? You better think again as the following examples will show you.
Facebook gets you fired
In the US about 8% of all companies have fired an employee because of their online comments. The classic example is the one of the girl foul mouthing her boss on Facebook, while she had made him a Facebook friend in the past… It is unbelievable, but this is not a unique case:

These are just some examples. There are many more out there and a lot of people asking to be fired. Just go into Twitter and search for “my boss” and you won’t believe your eyes.
Facebook can get you divorced
Concerning the above examples, it should be clear that you also need to be careful about what you write or which photos you post, when you are in a shaky relation. At this moment Facebook comments are used in 1 out of every 5 divorces in the US:
